With national media attention focused on the Ebola Virus, efforts in northern Maine to protect the local population from another virus, seasonal influenza, have resulted in a record number of area residents getting the vaccine at free flu shot clinics offered throughout the region by TAMC.

TAMC will partner with AARP Maine for its October Community Lunch and Learn/Healthy Aging Luncheon set for Monday, October 27th at the Caribou Inn and Convention Center. Informational displays and entertainment will begin at 10:00 a.m., with lunch and presentations by two speakers to follow at 11:00 a.m.

Gould Memorial Hospital campus designed to improve and expand treatment at the region’s most comprehensive cancer center.
