Final interior work to take down two sections of the Community General Hospital in Fort Fairfield is underway this week, and TAMC and Fort Fairfield town officials expect County contractor Soderberg Construction, which submitted the project low bid, will likely begin exterior demolition sometime next week.

Medications and Sleep: The Connections and The Conflicts, will be the topic of the first TAMC Community Lunch and Learn/Healthy Aging Luncheon of the season on Monday, September 22 at 11:00 a.m. at the Presque Isle Inn and Convention Center. Entertainment and other activity will begin at 10:00 a.m., with lunch and the presentation to follow at 11:00 a.m.
Aroostook Autism Support Group, TAMC and area first responders partner for Fall Kids Safety Fair
First responders from the area will be joining together for an event that will give young children a chance to get comfortable with the men and women in uniform who may help them during an emergency. The Fall Kids Safety Fair is being offered through a collaboration of the Aroostook Autism Support Group, TAMC and various emergency responders on Saturday, September 13, at TAMC’s North Street Healthcare Plaza.
County Organizations benefit from TAMC’s Casual for a Cause program
Patients and visitors to TAMC facilities may, on occasion, notice some employees dressed casually and proudly sporting yellow buttons. These TAMC team members are participating in Casual for a Cause, a program that allows employees to dress casually on select days and collectively contribute to worthwhile causes.
