The Aroostook Medical Center is a member of EMHS, a healthcare system serving all of central, eastern, and northern Maine. The system includes hospitals, physician practice groups, home care agencies, and more. Through a variety of initiatives, EMHS is working to become the best rural healthcare system in America by 2012. Membership in EMHS allows The Aroostook Medical Center to provide residents of Aroostook County with access to a range of specialty physicians, advanced services, and technology not commonly available in rural areas.
