LifeLine

Lifeline provides you and your family peace of mind with its easy, one-button system that ensures a quick response to your emergency.

With Lifeline, help is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with the press of a button. Whether you need an ambulance or simply the assistance of a responder, appropriate help will be sent to you.

As an optional safety feature, if you do not reset your Lifeline unit within a 24 hour period the unit automatically calls the hospital, at which time the operator calls to see if everything is okay. If there is no answer, the operator will call a responder to check on you. This optional feature is most beneficial for subscribers that do not see someone everyday.

Help at the push of a button.

Whenever you need help, one press of your personal help button activates the Lifeline Home Unit which then dials the Lifeline Monitoring Center at The Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle and establishes two-way voice communication. Within seconds, a Lifeline Operator with complete access to your full profile communicates with you. He or she asks you what you need and assesses the situation. The Lifeline Operator then contacts a neighbor, loved one, or emergency services to come to your assistance based on your specific needs.

He or she will call one of your friends, neighbors or relatives - "responders" who will come to your home to check on you. If you need emergency help, we will call for it immediately.

If you press your button and can't speak, the Lifeline staff know exactly what to do.

Your connection to people who care.

While people choose Lifeline for a number of reasons, they remain subscribers largely because of the caring response they get from Lifeline staff every time they push their help buttons.

Lifeline staff take the time to personalize your file so when you press your help button, the Lifeline computer identifies you and your special needs instantly.

Peace of mind is well within your reach

Lifeline subscribers pay only $25 a month, far below the national average. Subscribers pay no setup fee, no installation fee and there are no equipment costs.

For more information...

If you have questions or would like to subscribe, call your local Lifeline Reps, Cheryl Boulier, or Judy Gould at (207) 768-4259.
