Established in March 1999, the health center is located at the corner of Mill and Main Streets.  To best serve the Madawaska area, HORIZONS' administrators meet regularly with members of the Greater Madawaska Medical Advisory Committee, which is made up of area residents and business leaders.

The health center provides care to women, mothers-to-be, children and adolescents.   Services include prenatal care, office gynecology, family planning, well child care, school physicals, yearly immunizations and general medical care.  The center is staffed with an Obstetrician/Gynecologist, Pediatrician, and a Certified Nurse Midwife.
