HORIZONS OB/GYN Services provides obstetrical care in communities throughout Northern Maine.
Occupational Health & Wellness
Occupational Health and Wellness staff members provide injury and disease prevention and employee health programs and assessments for employees.
Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center
Orthopedic medicine deals with the prevention or correction of injuries or disorders of the skeletal system and associated muscles, joints, and ligaments. Orthopedic Surgery includes the preservation, investigation, and restoration of the form and function of the extremities, spine and associated structures.
Outpatient Psychiatric Services
A Psychiatrist is a physician who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of mental, addictive and emotional disorders, including depression, anxiety disorders, substance abuse disorders, developmental disabilities, sexual dysfunctions, and adjustment reactions. These services are delivered in a highly confidential setting. Psychiatrists understand the biological, psychological and social components of illness and can order diagnostic laboratory tests, prescribe medications, and evaluate and treat psychological and interpersonal problems.
Pediatric Care
Your pediatrics team is currently seeing patients in Presque Isle, Fort Fairfield, Caribou, and Madawaska.
Pulmonary Rehabilitation
The Pulmonologist diagnoses and treats disorders of the lungs, including pneumonia, asthma, occupational diseases, bronchitis, and emphysema. Pulmonologists test lung functions in many ways and prescribe and monitor mechanical assistance to ventilation.
Sleep Medicine
Our Sleep Disorders Laboratory at uses advanced technology and ability to diagnose sleep disorders and recommend treatment.
Surgical Services
Our surgical services team maintains several specialties and is located centrally in Presque Isle.
