The Aroostook Medical Center website is an official publication of The Aroostook Medical Center. The purpose is to provide information about TAMC, its mission, events and programs for both internal and external audiences. In addition, the web sites are designed to provide access to educational resources, informational tools, and navigational aids to further the professional growth of staff and physicians, and to increase the healthcare knowledge of area consumers. They are a continuously evolving resource that undoubtedly will grow in scope and creative application as time goes on.
To assure a unified image and high quality content as these sites evolve, all TAMC web information will be directed through the TAMC/EMH Web Affinity Group. The EMH Internet Steering Committee is ultimately responsible for the content of the material published on the TAMC/EMH websites. Periodically, the Web Affinity Group or designees will review the sites for accuracy, currency, continuity and compliance with the TAMC/EMH policy outlining the web publishing standards and guidelines. The TAMC/EMH Content Management System provides assistance for review and publication of website content.
For more information about the TAMC/EMH Website Guidelines, please contact the EMH eBusiness Director at 973-7073, or via email at mpeterson@emh.org.
Responsible Use All submissions intended for publication on the web sites are expected to provide materials that are consistent with federal and state law, system policies and established procedures, and that further the role and mission of TAMC.
Contributions All EMH members, affiliates, individual departments and staff are encouraged to provide material they believe will further the purposes of the website stated above. For more information regarding the procedure for web site material contribution, contact the EMH Web Development Manager at 973-7319, or via email at swidmann@emh.org.
Accessibility TAMC is committed in providing access of its web site to all community members. In doing so, TAMC is proud to display the "Bobby Approved" icon in ensuring accessible web design. This rating was created by the Center for Applied Special Technology.
Because we are always striving to provide an accessible web site, please contact the webmaster if you find an area in which we have not done so.
Feedback Responses, questions, or comments generated from the web site will be routed to the appropriate party based on the nature of the feedback via our electronic Customer Relation Management system.
