Why can't I find the baby I'm looking for?

There are several reasons why you might not be able to find the baby you are looking for:

• Participation in the Online Nursery is optional. Parents must give consent for their baby's picture to be put in the Online Nursery. Some parents do not wish to give consent for their newborn to be placed on our website. Parents must complete a release form before their baby is posted.
• Newborn babies are quite busy, and they often like to sleep a lot. Making sure that they receive the care that they need is our first priority. Because of this, pictures are sometimes not posted until two or more business days after birth.
• Babies are removed after about three months.

How long does it take for the babies to appear on the web site?

It usually takes a baby two to three business days after birth to appear in the Online Nursery. Here's why:

• Newborns need to sleep, be cared for, and visit with their parents during their first couple of days. They often are not in any mood to get their picture taken right after birth.
• Parents need to complete the necessary paperwork, and sometimes this takes some time.
