Roland Joy, MSN, BSBA, RN

Roland Joy, MSN, BSBA, RN, Vice President, Patient Care Services/CNO, joined The Aroostook Medical Center in 2012. His experience includes leadership roles in Home Health and Hospice, including Executive Vice President of Pediatrics for Encompass Home Health in Dallas, Texas and Regional Director of Operations for HCR-Manorcare/Heartland. Hospital Leadership roles include Executive Director of Homecare/Hospice and Oncology Service Lines, as well as Director of Orthopedic/Stroke Service Line Teams for Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton, Georgia. Mr. Joy has also served as faculty for University of Georgia (Athens) and University of Phoenix (Chattanooga, Tennessee) where he taught health care management curriculum. He most recently has relocated from Dallas, Texas and will oversee TAMC’s clinical services at A.R. Gould Memorial Hospital, County Dialysis Center, and Aroostook Health Center in Mars Hill, Maine.

Mr. Joy earned an MSN in nursing from The University of Phoenix, a BSBA in business from Shorter University in Rome, Georgia, and an AD in nursing from Southern University of SDA in Collegedale, Tennessee. He is a member of the National Association of Nursing for Texas, and a former member of the Nurses Association for Nursing Leadership in Georgia.
