Joseph S. Siddiqui

Siddiqui, Vice President – Human Resources for the EMHS Northwest Region since June 1, 2014, received his Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics with a Minor in Music Composition from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts and his Master of Arts in Teaching from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.  Prior to joining the TAMC team, Mr. Siddiqui spent twelve years as a mathematics instructor at the Maine School of Science and Mathematics (MSSM) in Limestone.  While at MSSM, he also served in such roles as Dean of Students, Director of Studies and Interim Executive Director.  Since coming to TAMC in 2009, he has served as Manager of Educational Services, Director of Innovation and Education, and Director of Employee Services and Leadership Development.

Mr. Siddiqui is a 1996 recipient of MIT’s Charles and Holly Houseman Prize for Excellence in Teaching, a 2001 Regional Finalist for Maine Teacher of the Year, a recipient of the 2003 Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching, and a recipient of the 2003 Milken Family Foundation National Educator Award.

Mr. Siddiqui has been active in a variety of community organizations, having served his church in the roles of pianist, choir director and worship leader.  In his role for EMHS, he is responsible for oversight of the human resources function at TAMC and CA Dean Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
